I deploy and service enterprise infrastructure in the field — servers, storage, and networking inside live data centers, where the work has to be right the first time. By day that means racking, cabling, diagnosing, and repairing systems for some of the most demanding environments in tech. By night it means network engineering on my own iron: designing OSPF topologies and hardened configs on physical Cisco gear, running a Proxmox cluster, and operating Kubernetes with full observability — a homelab built to production habits.
It started at 13 with a tower built from salvaged parts. It's still the same instinct: take it apart, understand it, make it run better.
A full enterprise Windows stack built from scratch: Active Directory Domain Services, Hyper-V, and a failover cluster with iSCSI shared storage — engineered as a six-phase roadmap on virtualized nodes.
A four-node k3s cluster running kube-prometheus-stack with a Loki logging pipeline backed by Cloudflare R2 object storage — live log streaming in Grafana, with Alertmanager next on the roadmap.
Real network engineering on real iron: dual 2911 routers and a Catalyst 3850 running OSPF, NAT/PAT, hardened SSH, and end-to-end routed connectivity out to the internet — CCNA-level design and troubleshooting on hardware, not just a simulator.
